FAQs
What’s included in tuition fees?
There are no hidden costs. The fee covers all library resources, access to journals, and any required software (if applicable).
How are student loans paid?
For undergraduates, the loan is paid directly to Aston University, while for postgraduates the funds are paid directly to the student.
How can I check my eligibility for student finance?
If you are UK based, upon receiving an offer, please contact Student Finance England/Wales/Northern Ireland, depending on where you are resident. They will then be able to advise you further.
How long does it take to apply for a student loan?
The length of time to apply for a loan and for this loan to be processed can vary. Therefore, we recommend contacting your relevant student finance body as soon as you receive an offer, as application times can be lengthy during peak periods e.g., September.
How can I get help with a Flywire payment?
There is generally no additional help needed unless the payment link is broken. In that case, candidates should contact their advisor.
Flywire payment process
Make your Flywire payment in just three steps.
Step 1: Follow the secure payment link provided in your offer letter
Step 2: Enter your payment details. Flywire currently accepts bank transfers, credit/debit card payments and other online payment methods. Please note, the payment methods made available depend on the country you are paying from and the institution you are making a payment to.
Step 3: Add your student number, name, and date of birth.
That’s it – your payment is processed securely through Flywire.
