Once logged in, you can:

Accessing Materials

Alumni Sports Aston Discount

Aston alumni can maintain an active and healthy lifestyle with an affordable Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre membership. For an annual fee, members receive discounted rates on various activities, including swimming, aerobics, and badminton.

Joining is simple and requires just three steps:

Step 1: Download and complete the Affiliated Membership Application Form and Health Questionnaire.

Step 2: Submit the completed forms at the Sports Centre Reception with identification confirming your alumni status, such as an old student ID or graduation certificate.

Step 3: Pay via card, cheque, or cash.

Aston Health Services

Aston alumni can also access a range of clinics operated by the School of Life & Health Sciences. These clinics, staffed by experienced professionals, are open to alumni, the general public, Aston staff, and students. Appointments can be made by referral or directly.

The clinics include the Optometry Clinic, Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology Clinic, and Audiology Clinic.

As the world’s largest optometry teaching center, Aston’s clinics offer a higher level of personalised care. Under the supervision of experienced practitioners, students gain valuable clinical experience, while patients receive comprehensive examinations using advanced equipment.

Aston’s Audiology Clinic partners with Specsavers to provide a full suite of services, from hearing tests to personalised noise protection. The clinic accepts NHS referrals, and most consultations are free. Certain specialised services, such as personalised spectacles, contact lenses, or hearing aids, may have associated costs.
